About PokéSurvivor

PokéSurvivor is a browser survival roguelite where you choose a Pokémon partner and fight through growing waves of wild creatures. The setup feels close to Vampire Survivors: you focus on movement and positioning while attacks handle much of the combat.

A run starts simple, but the map gets crowded fast. Defeated enemies drop EXP gems, and each level gives you three cards to choose from. You can learn moves, improve attacks, or strengthen basic stats. I found movement upgrades especially useful once enemies began closing in from several sides.

There is also plenty to collect. The roster includes up to 966 Pokémon from nine regions, plus rare Shiny encounters. Tickets earned from battles, bosses, and rifts can unlock more partners without paid pulls.

You can play solo or join a browser-based co-op room with up to four players. Shared EXP keeps the squad progressing together, while fallen teammates can be revived if someone can safely reach them.

Controls

  • Move: WASD or Arrow Keys; use the virtual joystick on mobile.
  • Switch Move: Press 1–4 or Q/E; tap the move icon on touchscreens.
  • Choose Cards: Click a card or tap it after leveling up.
  • Pause: Press Esc/P or tap the pause icon.

Smart Tips

  • Keep moving: Standing still becomes risky once several enemy groups surround you.
  • Leave an exit: Avoid drifting into map edges when a large wave approaches.
  • Balance upgrades: Mix stronger moves with useful stats instead of chasing damage every level.
  • Grab EXP safely: Do not dive into a packed horde just for a few gems.
  • Protect revives: In co-op, pull enemies away before helping a fallen teammate.
  • Save rare finds: Keep an eye out for Shiny Pokémon and rifts while farming resources.

PokéSurvivor is best played with a little planning. Build a flexible moveset, control open space, and survive long enough to turn each run into progress for your collection.
