About MARTIN: NO FILTER FIGHTERS
Martin: No Filter Fighters turns the world of the 1990s sitcom Martin into a fast 2D fighting game. Trey2k23 and TDHampton Productions released this fan-made browser game in October 2026. Instead of simply watching familiar characters trade jokes, you control them in head-to-head fights packed with punches, special attacks, sidekicks, and over-the-top finishers.
The combat feels familiar if you have played Street Fighter. You move, block, watch your opponent, then punish an opening with a combo. The difference is the comedy. Fighters and attacks pull ideas from the TV show, so matches rarely feel too serious.
Breaking Stages and Unleashing Fighter Skills
Smash Through Floors and Ceilings
Some arenas are more than static backgrounds. A powerful hit can send the other fighter through part of the stage and continue the battle somewhere else.
This changes how you approach the edge of an arena. If your rival is already near a break point, pressure them instead of backing away. One clean finisher may do more than ordinary combo damage.
Activate Special Moves and Call for Backup
Every character has their own attacks, special moves, Supers, and Sidekick option.
Build energy: Fight aggressively or take damage to fill the Super Gauge.
Save your Super: Do not spend it as soon as it becomes available. A well-timed Super can interrupt the flow of a close round.
Check your range: Fighters do not attack from the same distance. Jerome, for example, rewards better spacing.
Use Sidekicks: Call for help when you need another way to pressure or disrupt an opponent.
Explore Game Modes and Multiplayer Battles
You can switch between several ways to fight:
Arcade: Battle a sequence of CPU fighters as the challenge increases.
Story: Play themed fights inspired by situations from Martin.
Online PvP: Use a Room Code to challenge another player online.
Local multiplayer: Share one keyboard and fight a friend on the same device.
The local mode is especially fun because both players have separate key layouts. There is no waiting for matchmaking. Start a match and settle it on the spot.
Controls and Combat Basics
Player 1: WASD to move, F/G/V/B to attack, H for Special, T/Y for Supers, and C for Sidekick.
Player 2: Arrow Keys to move, J/K/M/, to attack, L for Special, I/O for Supers, and . for Sidekick.
You can also remap the controls or connect a gamepad. Before chasing long combos, learn movement, blocking, attack range, and one reliable punish. Those basics will win more rounds than randomly pressing every attack button.
