About PokéBonk
PokeBonk is a 3D roguelike survival game released in 2024. It takes familiar Gen 1 monsters and drops them into a setup closer to Vampire Survivors: attacks happen on their own while movement decides whether a run lasts two minutes or much longer. There are 151 creatures to unlock, plus bosses, upgrades, evolutions, and new moves to build around.

Survive Enemy Waves Through Movement and Attacks
Standing still is usually the quickest way to get surrounded. Enemies start fairly spread out, but later waves leave much less room to move. Jumping helps in tight spots, while a well-timed dash can open a path through a closing crowd.
Attacks fire automatically after their cooldown ends. That changes the job from button-mashing to positioning. Try to pull enemies into a loose group before Razor Leaf, Ember, Water Gun, or another area attack goes off. Chasing every XP drop is risky when the screen gets busy. Sometimes leaving a few behind is the better trade.
Combine Evolutions and Upgrades for Stronger Builds
XP brings up random upgrade choices during a run. Some improve basic stats. Others add moves or passive bonuses. A build starts to feel different once those choices begin working together.
Useful approach:
Early game: Grab XP while the arena still has open space.
Movement: Keep an escape route instead of circling into a corner.
Upgrades: Improve moves that already fit the current build.
Evolution: Reach the required levels to evolve the active creature.
Move Evolution: Match a maxed move with its correct Vitamin for a stronger version.
Boss fights expose weak builds quickly. Raw damage helps, but poor movement can still end a strong run.
Movement and Combat Controls
WASD / Arrow Keys: Move
Spacebar: Jump
Shift / Click: Dash
Mouse: Aim skills and use menus
The controls take little time to learn. The harder part is knowing when to collect XP, when to dash away, and which upgrade is actually worth taking.
