About Google Pac
Google Pac-Man is a modern version of the classic arcade game Pac-Man, created by Google as a playable doodle to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original game. This version brings the nostalgia of the 1980s arcade to modern players with a Google-themed maze and simple gameplay that everyone can enjoy. Originally launched on May 21, 2010, it became so popular that it’s still accessible online today.
Game Rules
In Google Pac-Man, players control Pac-Man as he navigates a maze, eating all the dots while avoiding ghosts. The goal is to clear each level by eating all the dots in the maze without getting caught by the ghosts. Special power pellets, located in the maze's corners, give Pac-Man temporary powers to eat the ghosts, turning them blue and vulnerable. Each ghost has a unique behavior, so learning their patterns can help players avoid being captured.
How to Play
- Start the Game: Just head to the Google Doodle page or search for "Google Pac-Man" to start the game.
- Navigate the Maze: Use the arrow keys to move Pac-Man through the maze.
- Eat the Dots and Power Pellets: Clear the level by eating all the dots in the maze. Power pellets allow you to eat ghosts temporarily, adding extra points.
- Avoid the Ghosts: Each ghost has a different behavior. Blinky (red) chases Pac-Man, Pinky (pink) tries to cut him off, Inky (cyan) is unpredictable, and Clyde (orange) switches between chasing and wandering.
Controls
The controls are simple, making the game easy to pick up:
