About Evil Wordle
Evil Wordle is a twist on the popular word-guessing game Wordle, designed to be extra challenging. While the basic mechanics of guessing a word are similar, Evil Wordle introduces a clever twist: the game changes its "target word" based on the player's guesses, making it intentionally difficult to guess correctly. Unlike regular Wordle, where the target word is fixed, Evil Wordle adapts in real time to make each guess feel trickier than the last.
Game Rules
- Make Guesses: Type in five-letter words within the allowed number of guesses.
- Feedback on Guesses: After each guess, letters in the guessed word will be color-coded:
- Green letters indicate correct letters in the correct position.
- Yellow letters indicate correct letters but in the wrong position.
- Grey letters are incorrect letters not present in the target word.
- Dynamic Difficulty: Unlike in Wordle, Evil Wordle manipulates the target word to keep the answer elusive, based on your guesses.
How to Play
- Start with Any Five-Letter Word: Begin by guessing any common five-letter word to get a sense of which letters might be correct.
- Adjust Your Guesses: Based on the color feedback, refine your guesses, using letters marked green or yellow.
- Watch Out for Changing Clues: Since Evil Wordle adapts to keep you guessing, the solution may seem just out of reach. Keep refining your guesses until you either solve the word or run out of tries.
Controls
- Keyboard: Type in your guesses directly. Use "Enter" to submit each five-letter guess.
Tips for Winning at Evil Wordle
- Start with Common Vowels and Consonants: Choose words with common letters to get a strong start.
- Stay Flexible: Since the target word shifts, don't rely too heavily on patterns that would work in regular Wordle.
- Keep Track of Previous Clues: Remember which letters have shown up as green or yellow to avoid repeating letters incorrectly.
