Orbit Rush is a high-speed arcade game where you control a planet orbiting a black hole and try to survive as long as possible. The gameplay is incredibly simple: just one button press to maintain orbit. But the longer you play, the more difficult it becomes, and you'll quickly get a sweaty hand.
This is the kind of game that's easy to get into but hard to quit. I tried a few short rounds, and before I knew it, I was glued to the screen, hunting for points for over 40 minutes.
Gameplay
Orbit Rush focuses entirely on control skills and rhythm.
You orbit a giant black hole.
- Press to push the planet away.
- Release to pull gravity closer to the center.
It sounds simple. But the closer you get to the black hole, the faster your points increase — meaning higher risk.
The feeling of playing is like balancing on the edge of a precipice. A slight misstep and it's game over. The increasing pace makes every second of survival valuable.
How to Play Orbit Rush
Minimalist Controls:
- Left Mouse Button: Push the planet away from the black hole
- Gamepad A: Control the trajectory
- Touch: Touch the screen to play
Basic Strategy:
- Don't hold down the buttons for too long.
- Find a consistent rhythm between "push" and "release".
- Obstacles appear more and more quickly.
