About Color Jump
Color Jump is a very lively arcade-style game where each jump you make is a trial for your concentration, reflexes, and accuracy. The game provides a soothing yet intense experience as you maneuver a block (or circle, triangle, or rectangle) to hop through the rotating rings of the continuously changing colors. The objective is very straightforward: only go through the part of the obstacle that has the same color as your character.
It is easy to assume this is a game with very simple mechanics; however, the longer you keep playing, the faster, more complicated and color rotation will force you to calculate every jump accurately. One wrong color touch means the level is over, thus making Color Jump a real reflex training ground.
More so, you can also gather stars to get new skins and effects to make your character even more visible in each level. The combination of lively sounds and bright colors makes the game both addictive and constantly exciting.
How to play Color Jump effectively
Right at the start, you only need one tap or pressing a key to get the character up. Each obstacle is divided into many different colored sections - your task is to go through the section that matches the color of the character.
Try to:
- Press the W key or the up arrow (or touch the screen if playing on the phone) to jump.
- Observe the character's color, as it will change as you go through the “color switches”.
- Keep a steady rhythm, as the game will get faster and more unpredictable as time goes on.
- Collect stars to unlock new skins and increase your bonus points.
Each failure is an opportunity for you to improve your jump timing, train your reflexes, and understand the rotation rules of the obstacles.
Tips to help you get higher scores
- Keep a steady rhythm to easily time the color rotation.
- Pay attention to the center of the screen to easily catch the jump trajectory.
- React quickly when the color changes suddenly.
- Focus on the sense of rhythm rather than just seeing the colors.
